सगरमाथा आरोहणका क्रममा फिलिपिनी नागरिक फिलिप द्वितीय स्यान्टिएगोको मृत्यु भएको छ ।
सगरमाथाको चौथो शिविरमा गएराति आराम गरिरहेका अवस्थामा उनको निधन भएको पर्यटन विभागले जनाएको छ । उनी स्नो होराइजन टेक्स एण्ड एक्सपिडिसन प्रालिमार्फत सगरमाथा आरोहणमा गएका थिए ।
फिलिप चौथो शिविरमा करिब रातको ७/८ बजे थकित अवस्थामा पुगेको र आराम गरेका अवस्थामा मृत्यु भएको आरोहणदलका सदस्यबाट आज विहान जानकारी प्राप्त भएको विभागले जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिमा भनिएको छ ।
मृतकको शव आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पु¥याएर आधार शिविर ल्याउने प्रक्रिया भइरहेको जनाइएको छ ।
