Application has been called for the NAGC International Journalism Award 2017 which is jointly established by Nepalese Association for Global Cooperation and Janasawal Media Network.
The award, carries cash prize of $1000.00 with a crystal trophy and award certificate, will be facilitating in Kathmandu in December 2017. A statement issued by both parties states that a active journalist from any part of the world with any disciple of language can apply for the award. Application expects a brief of published or broadcasted stories, released within a year, with its typical impacts. A high emphasis will be given to Originality, utility and impact of the news materials, said the statement. Reporter, editor, broadcaster, citizen journalist, columnist, blogger or author can apply for the award within 30 of November.
NAGC international Award is known as one of the most prestigious and valuable award in the field of journalism. NAGC, a global network, known for advocate of human right, press freedom, culture and art and social welfare, has established a fund for the award. Janasawal Media Network is a renowned media house in Nepal publishing different prestigious editions since a decade.
