Mithila paintings solo exhibition kicks off

A solo-exhibition of Mithila paintings by Academy Assembly member of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Mithiladevi Yadav, has begun at Mithilain Art Gallery, Chhetrapati.
A total of 20 paintings related to Mithila culture has been put on display in the eight-day expo. Yadav is active in such art since 2045 BS.
Inaugurating the expo, CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said that the expo would have important contribution to take the Mithila culture in generation.
Similarly, Vice-Chancellor of the Academy, Sharada Chitrakar, amomg others said that such expo would help in protection of Mithila culture.
